Ha Ha.. Jim DeFede (Miami Herald) destroys Alex Pinelas
The Alex backers will soon hop into this thread crying loud that DeFede has it out for poor Alex, BUT THE FACTS ARE FUCKING FACTS. Alex Pinelas ran and hid like the coward/traitor that he is after his election in Sept. to the Pres election in Nov. Alex Pinelas took money from the Democratic Party to support his campaign. When it was time to pay back he vanished.

1. I love the way....
...DeFede worked a Raul Martinez quote into his column. Martinez hates Penelas. They've been bitter rivals since Penelas was on the Hialeah City Council. It must burn little Alex up to have to read Raul's words in this article. DeFede really knows how to hurt a guy.

2. Good for Al Gore
He just shot down one more DINO POS. Penelas is a backstabbing creep. If he had supported Gore we might be reelecting him rather than holding our nose for Kerry.

5. His career is dead as a Democrat,
so it's just a matter of time before he switches parties. What's that gonna do for him? Absolutely nothing! He will be just one of many in the sea of Cuban Republicans.

While he snubbed Gore and Miami was desperately trying to count the votes, Alex was snuggling up with Republican state Rep. Carlos Lacasa of Miami. They were plotting Lacassa's plan for reorganizing Miami-Dade County government.

Alex was my mayor until I moved out of state. Alex is for Alex. I didn't like him then and I don't like him now.

Thank you Al Gore for not forgetting and not forgiving. BTW, I love Jim Defede. I still miss Miami, and I try to keep up with things there by reading him in the Miami New Times. www.miaminewtimes.com There is lots there in their archives on Miami politics.
