Just got surveyed about my opinion on abortion and family planning.

They asked if I felt abortion should remain legal.

Then they asked how important of an issue it was to me on a scale of 1-10, whether I agreed with my taxes being raised in order to fund family planning and how I felt about the issue of parent notification for teens.

Being a good liberal, I of course answered that I felt abortion should remain legal and that it was ok to me that they raised my taxes in order to fund family planning, etc. They then said thank you and hung up (sort of abruptly).

Upon reflection, I almost wished that I had "played" a little bit with them to find out what they were calling about. I wonder if this was sort of a "push poll" - since they asked if it was ok to me if my taxes were raised in order to fund family planning. Or, maybe they were trolling for $$$$ for anti-abortion activites.

The name on my caller ID is "BUTM." They told me their name at the beginning of the phone call - which or course, I promptly forgot.
