Isn't it about time the media stop "protecting" this dangerous person?
Since 9/11, the media - primarily television - have, for some reason or another, felt obligated to protect George W Bush and, by extension, promote his dangerous, paranoid vision of America. It's as if they convinced themselves that they were doing it for patriotic reasons. We were at war. This was no time to criticize our leaders - no matter how dangerous they might seem.

And for every inch they gave, the White House took a mile. Now we find our nation engrossed in an untenable situation in Iraq and with an economy that looks terrible for the future of Americans. Isn't it about time the media stop protecting this charade of a leader and send a shot over their bow that the honeymoon is over. Our nation cannot take much more of this type of "protection".

6. Agreed, but I was speaking of W* as pRes. specifically
More Broadly W* has been protected by media his whole life

Any of his ongoing scandals would have come to light were he the

son of a liberal politician

7. Exactly
The media is in it right along with the Bush Crime Family. They are just as shortsighted. And it shall be their downfall as well, after we vote Bush out and imprison him, we turn the guns on the media and clear out that den of iniquity as well. If we here know the truth, then surely they know it too and should be tried for aiding and abetting criminals.
