:-) Still having conversations with Jerry, musically, LOL.

Getting the jam band kids registered, has 1000 canvassers heading to concerts this summer.

If every Deadhead had voted in Florida, Gore would have won.

This might be our last election to maintain control of our government.

Bush redefines bad. Most disasterous environmental President ever.

Dick Cheney story: Fighting a timber giveaway. Wier goes around Congress, the bill was passing until Cheney realized that the clearcutting would be impacting on his holdings. Same bill passed, excluding the area that affected his property.

13. deadheads are split between the GOP and the green party
Me thinks that there are few liberal intellectual deadhead that fit into the Dem party. Usually, there are trustifarian GOP neo Con pot smokers or vegan crunchies. IMHO

17. I guess I must be the exception to your rule.
Actually, I think there are a few more than you give credit too. Like Kerry, Leahy, Gore, and Dean.

2. I don't tune in Franken much anymore
but will check it out now.

I saw the Grateful Dead in concert at Philmore East in the sixties. I cannot remember the exact date. On stage at the same concert was Joan Biaz.

Edited on Wed Jun-09-04 12:28 PM by burythehatchet
I'm in freaking heaven

I wish they would play the whole song. I'd be happy to sacrifice Al for one day and listen to bootlegs.

10. I'm pissed I missed this interview
but I volunteer with the organization he's talking about, Headcount.

www.headcount.org

It was started by the bassist of my favorite band, the Disco Biscuits, Marc Brownstein, and his friend, Andy Bernstein.

This is a truly great organization. Most "jamband" fans do not vote and this is a way to kill the apathy and really change the course of politics in this country, as well as make candidates focus more on youth issuessuch as higher education funding.

WAY TO GO BOYS!!
