When did Schwarzenegger become an American citizen? Anyone know?

He came to the US in 1968 I have read. Did he register for the draft when he became a citizen? Did he apply for any draft deferments? Is he a Chickenhawk too? How do we find out these things?

2. 1983 or 84, that's why Orrin Hatch's idea to alter The Constitution

...calls for a person to have been a naturalized citizen for 20 years in order to be president.

...as a conscript(?). Most notable accomplishments were going to sleep with his tank's engine running (thus letting it roll into a river) and going AWOL for a body-building competition.
