1. Did Jim Hightower really say this?
This is a snip from Newsmax , supposedly a quote of Jim Hightower:

After Dean spoke, leftist commentator Jim Hightower roused the crowd by saying: "I don't care if John Kerry is a sack of cement. We'll carry him to victory."
The next sentence was "first we'll get rid of Bush, then we'll get rid of Kerry."


I haven't had the chance to hear him very often, but I thought he was just an outspoken Dem. I didn't realize he was sooo far to the left that he hates Kerry too!
