Reagan TV coverage still going strong

I was curious if by this day, FIVE days after Reagan's death, if the stations would lighten up a bit on the Reagan tributes. So I turned on the tv and flipped through the stations, CNN - nope, ABC - nope, CBS - nope, Cspan - nope. All of them are still showing the Reagan coverage.

This is ridiculous. I bet it will continue over the weekend too, will have to wait till Monday to be "Reagan free" from the big media.

1. The Funeral Is Tomorrow

So count on lots of coverage tomorrow.

Funeral in DC around noon (EDT) tomorrow.

Burial in Californa around midnight (EDT) tomorrow night.

2. Dead Soviet Treatment

You must remember, that one cannot compare Free Nations to Imperial Amerika anymore.

When considered next to our fellow Totalitarian and Third World Nations, the Raygun funeral is in keeping with Totalitarian State Funeral Practice (except Raygun's coffin is shut, I believe, because to open it would remind people too much of Lenin's Tomb).

3. The repugs

are trying to ride his casket for all it's worth. I still won't watch chimpy deliver the eulogy. It's painful even listening to him speak.

I didn't catch the news this morning, so I wasn't sure.

5. I have used this constructively. I switched from C-Span to AAR in

the morning (I usually have AAR on for Franken and Randi) and I have discovered that "Morning Sedition" and "Unfiltered" ARE REALLY GOOD. I will go back to C-Span when the RR puke-fest is over.
As far as TV news goes... It has been off on my TV all this week.

I thought that was him transiting the sun a couple of days ago....but it was only Venus!.....hehehe
