I couldn't get America, but I'm happy with what I got.
This is one legend that actually will be missed by the majority of Americans. He was an icon and decent person.
May he rest in peace.

I was much more saddened by Ray's passing than you-know-who.
I grew up with his music. His death leaves a big hole in the world. I'm happy that you were able to get a bunch of his tunes--cherish them always.

I heard Ray Charles do an interview on radio in the 90's where artists got to praise him and they did renditions of his songs. I taped it and plan on digging it out tonight and playing it all weekend!
