things are lining up for a major strike at North Korea. Possibly with Russian support, or at least foreknowledge. (They're hurriedly redeploying some of their European forces to their Far East. Maybe to guard their border.) US troops have recently been moved back from the "tripwire", which suggests to me there'd be less US reluctance at using air power

And though many Army divisions are tied down in Iraq, just look at what the navy has. And much of it is steaming right now to the Western Pacific.
