Here you anti-war guys go.
While I personally support the war in Iraq (althought I think it could have been handled better), here is a picture that I think the rest of you all might enjoy.

Bush & Co stuck in a quagmire.

Notice the wording on the barrel.

4. I think the situation had gone on too long.
I think Bush Sr. should have more thoroughly dealt with Saddam back when we first went in.

I know the reasons for not doing so, but I still think it was a mistake to leave Saddam in power and let the sitation stagnate for over the following decade.

Better late than never.

14. Yeah ? What 'situation' had gone on
too long ? As far as 'stagnation' in Iraq, the 'situation' in Iraq has changed to 'pandemonium'. It will be many years before the results of the assault against Iraq will be reversed. Iraq is far worse off than before Bush's War. Infrastructure destroyed, thousand of innocent lives destroyed, people without the necessities of life. Yeah the bombardment of Iraq based on out and out lies has been so beneficial for the people of Iraq. Yeah, sure...

16. Do you feel the same about North Korea and Sudan and Rowanda?

and China and Russia and Malaysia, and Somalia, and etc. etc. All of those countries I listed have abused their people at least as much or more than Iraq ever did. Should we bring Democracy to all of them by invasion? Remember the excuse given now for the invasion is Liberating the Iraqi people. Iraq had no WMDs and absolutely no connection to 9-11. So you must feel we should invade any country we wish just to change their government into one that meets our needs.

3. I don't "enjoy" that it's a quagmire
I don't "enjoy" people dying.
I don't "enjoy" equipment ending up in a ditch and very possibly causing injuries
I don't "enjoy" that Bush is every bit the horror I knew he would be...

I can appreciate symbolism....even if I bitterly laugh over what it symbolizes. But please don't mistake that for enjoyment about what's happening in Iraq. For you see, it's not about how bad Bush looks because of it...it's because people are dying due to the arrogance and ignorance of Bush.

6. Not anti-war
I just don't feel that Iraq nor Afghanistan should have been invaded.

Saddam was actually on his way out and he was contained. Most of the alleged atrocities occured may years ago. The gasing of the Kurds is not a fact even though the US Govt claims it was. Bush1 encouraged the Shi'tes to revolt but then allowed them to get slaughtered. Anyone that believes Iraq will have anything other than a US Puppet Govt. is not researching the facts. The Iraqi invasion was about hegomy, oil, strategic military advantage and the Euro. Never about the plight of the Iraqi people or "spreading democracy".

I do feel that special troops should have been sent in Afghanistan to root out Al Q. There is no War On Terror. Terrorism is a tactic. There is a strugle against Al Q. and it's many cells. Most wars are not justified.

8. I agree. I really do want shrub to bring all our military people
back from Iraq even though I know it would help his popularity. I'm watching the morning news on MSNBC while "here" and they have already reported that a soldier who had been seriously wounded weeks ago had died of his wounds overnight. Some family out there is dealing with one of the worst things that could possibly happen to them and I'm supposed to have a nice day? I can't do that. I don't just oppose the war for political reasons; I oppose it because real people on all sides are really dying. The ancient Greeks had a word for this: Hubris. And hubris always loses.

11. Predicting bad consequences is NOT the same
as reveling in them. The pro-invasion ( I refuse to call
this immoral invasion a war ) folks just don't seem to
get that.

9. Troop withdrawl by shrub?
No way! His base would be outraged. He would be seen as a liar and coward by his Cult. Of course, he is a liar and a coward right now but his Cult see him a s steadfast terra fighter for freedom and the Amerikan way, the Christian way.

Most Dems think it's a good idea to leave 140K US Troops in Iraq. Shrub will never withdraw troops. There are 14 Military base being built in Iraq. One of the reason for invasion was to have a Military force in the region, since the Saudis asked BushCo to remove the US troops from their Kingdom because Al Q. was demanding that.

12. Alot of us aren't
necessarily anti-war we are anti-presidential lies that lead us into a war that has killed close to a thousand of our best and brightest and has maimed many more. We are against an administration that misused, made-up, and "doctored" intelligence that lead a nation to war. We stand and fight a government that has turned our military into a private enterprise that conducts itself outside worldwide treaties that protect detainees. Most of us want nothing more from our leaders except the truth, after all they work for us and we pay their salaries we deserve the truth. We are against a war where rouge American companies make billions from the pain and suffering of others. As Americans we CANNOT support a war that boils down to nothing more as payback for campaign contributions. You were sold a war based on lies, the world sees that now. How can you still support a war sold to America based on deceit?

Now on a side note, I am anti-war, always have been. I believe all the world's ills can be solved by diplomacy, education, aid, and humanitarian efforts. Our kids get Unsatisfactory marks for "not playing well with others", shouldn't we hold our world leaders to the same standards?

18. I was against invading Iraq, but why would you assume that I would
"ENJOY" that photo? You want my honest reaction? First, I wondered if anyone died or was wounded. Next I wondered what program would be cut to pay for the growing costs of this war.

I don't get any "enjoyment" out of the evidence of this quagmire. It makes me angry, and sick to my stomach. It makes me more committed than ever to get bush and his neo-con friends out of power.
