Some jackass said to Hannity yesterday they felt safe with Bush...
in the White House and that she wouldn't be able to sleep at night if Bush weren't the President.

To which I thought to myself, did you feel safe on 9/11? Didn't that happen on Bush's watch?

If another terrorist event occurs on US soil (other than Bush's selection for President in 2000) will these same morons still "feel safe" with Bush? Or will they justify their idiocy by saying - we need a republican to keep the terrorists from doing it again -

These people are delusional.

1. I'm sick of hearing people say how Reagan made America safe again...
Someone needs to grow the balls to go on TV and say to the world that if it weren't for Reagan, 9/11 would not have happened. If he hadn't trained and armed Osama bin Laden to fight the Big Bad Russkies, he wouldn't have has the resources to mount the attack twenty years later. Sometimes I just want to scream at these people for being so wrong and so ignorant.

2. When are people going to learn that
Reagan had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with ending the Cold War?! Simply put, the dawn of the Communications Era ended the Cold War, as communist Russia could no longer control the flow of information fast enough for it to reach their people and thus they started wanting Democracy. There's vast amounts of evidence that we had absolutely no fucking idea that the coup d'etat was going to occur.

Rachel Hunter 'votes' for President Bush
11 June 2004

United States President George W Bush has the vote of New Zealand supermodel Rachel Hunter - or at least he would if she could vote.

Los Angeles-based Hunter has controversially attacked former President Bill Clinton and praised Mr Bush, the World Entertainment News Network reports.

Hunter is not eligible to vote in the United States presidential elections in November, but regards herself as a loyal Republican who wants to support Mr Bush.

"If I could, I would vote for Bush," Hunter told the network.

"He has done what needed to be done because if Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden had their way, none of us would be around in 10 years.

"Clinton had a lot of tea parties with celebrities, but (right after) his term, somebody flew two planes into the Twin Towers.

"What do you want - somebody who keeps your children safe or somebody who throws nice tea parties?"

Hunter, 35, ex-wife of Scots rocker Rod Stewart, bared almost all in the April Sex and Music edition of Playboy magazine.

She netted a reported $NZ2.75 million for the picture spread, headlined "Rachel Rocks".
