I've found the minimal apparent interaction with Michael Reagan to be quite telling this week. He clearly seems to be the "skunk in the room." While I would never ordinarily suggest any difference between adopted and natural children, the fact is that Michael no longer has even adoptive ties to the family and his outspoken extreme RW views could not possibly endear himself to his "half"-adoptive siblings. But, he will continue to ride reagan's coattails on RW radio until they become totally threadbare.

As for Michael, he cuts a pathetic figure, he seems to have a massive inferiority complex. I saw him boohooing the other night about how sad he is that his siblings having accepted JC as their personal savior thereby ensuring they won't be with the Lord or their Dad when they die. I think he's alienated them past the point of repair. I also think the only reason Michael is a con was so he father would accept him.

Then Alfred died in the midst of the scandal. The mistress herself was murdered, creating another scandal.
