Without your donations this kind of expose would not be possible. You don't have to donate alot of money or buy into the high dollar "membership" drives they have all to often, just send a few dollars when you can. They are the last bastion of free press and real news we have left in this country.

Frontline is some of the best and most informative TV in the world, bar none.

PBS is all that stands between us and 24/7 propaganda TV. It really is the last defense between those of us that want to be informed and those that will settle for the Laci-Scott-Kobe salacious reporting that has taken over the airwaves.

I know I'm tapped out, but I always try to find a few bucks to send to PBS.

23. I don't know if it's why NPR sucks, they've been sorta sucking for awhile.

Mrs. Kroc was a Democrat, and her stated reason for her bequest (of $200 million, btw) was because she appreciated NPR's coverage of the Iraq invasion, to which she was adamantly opposed.

I think the roots of NPR's "suckiness" lie more with its ongoing corporate sponsorships/controllers.

36. This was an excellent show!

The CEO of AP was giving a very clear, very chilling message to the American public. He kept saying this is about "freedom" and "democracy". It wasn't only his words but the tone in which he spoke, he is VERY concerned that, without action, the bush admin will sound the death knell on democracy. I only hope his message is heeded.

38. Every segment was pretty explosive but when such a high ranking

media player speaks the words that he spoke, its pretty darn important. As far his message being heard. I agree there is a possibility that it may not. I remember frontline shows from the 80's where they exposed information about the CIA for example, but most people are still ignorant about it.
