They have destroyed the lives and reputations of any who would go against them
They are against all abortion, Yet throw to the wolfs those who have been born
They are racist of the most insidious kind, Their code words do not hide it
The whole world hates us because of their arrogance
Corporations mean more to them than a human life
They are the new carpet baggers of the world, Always ready to cash in on misery
They have attempted to rework our Constitution and kill off any opposition
They wave their flags while hating what this Nation was founded upon

My dad, both my uncles (I only have two), my grandfathers, my father-in-law, my husband, both of my brothers-in-law (I only have two of them, too), and even one of my grandmothers all served in the military. All were/are registered republicans.

My dad, my father-in-law, my husband, and both of my brothers-in-law will vote Dem this time.

I think my RW uncles are still gonna vote for boosh although one of them may have seen the light. My grandparents are all deceased.

Neither party holds a monopoly on sacrifice, patriotism, or honor: that belongs to individuals.

I wasn't "lucky" enough to get to pick to be born into a Democratic family, but I did manage to choose one that, regardless of party affiliation, believed in service to one's community, honesty and honor in all endeavors, and respect for my fellow human beings.

On some counts anyway. I haven't seen any evidence of racism on this board since I joined, and that was over a year ago.

Sure, some of us may share the same religion, but the difference is that we don't believe that those who don't share it are immoral and wrong.

I don't know if it's hate I see everywhere. Hate's a real strong word. I think it's more of intense dislike (at least that's my position. I don't hate them any more than I hate my boss for making me work overtime.) There is some strong vitriol in both places, though...I must agree. But what are you going to do? Piss and moan about it? They insult us, we insult them. Taking the high road on that isn't going to help us.

I agree that some here are uninformed, but the number is far smaller than that of Freeperville. Most people who post here are rational, well-informed people who are ABLE to string two words together.

We're not Liberal Freeperville. We're a far more tolerant alternative for the people that Freepers hate.

We're all human. Hopefully every now and then we will, on a personal level look within ourselves, recognize our biases and be aware not to always tout them. That's the best humanity can do. Every organization has thoughts and feelings that they are somehow superior to others, that helps cohesion and no, we have no reason to feel ashamed that liberals must monitor themselves and are prone to radical thoughts and feelings like say, well, the conservatives. BTW

I will always respect what I term my Father's type conservative that are a rare breed of Republican today. They also value personal reflection and place people (small business owners +) before power (the huge corporations). We need more of them today vice this new breed termed "the Neo-Conservatives. Yikes!

22. I recently, couple weeks ago had ago around with my husbands..

freeper friend and his family. They detest Liberals YET they receive disability checks,and any other social support Democrats have fought for. One gets state aide for adopting/foster care a foreign child in need. Which ever they get a state check for. They get foods stamps, run a business in his wife's name, her brother gets disability and runs a tree cutting service/landscape service in his son's name! Both businesses are rather prosperous and even have county contracts. They always have a hand out looking for a freeby, yet complaining because some poor person needs help.
I don't know how they get by with it, but they do.

I get disability because i am disabled after 28 years I couldn't work anymore. I can't don't have the energy to try to cheat the government.
