Nice little tid-bit reported in the Dallas News (surprised they posted this) from Katharine Goodloe. It seems the day of rememberance cost tax payers $423 to cover the day off for some 1.8 million federal workers. Here in Texas, it cost the tax payers at least $8.9 million to cover the day off for some 250,000 state workers. Add to that other states, and the incredible expense this Hollywood type funeral must have cost, and once again Joe Six-Pack (who'll probably still vote Republican) will have to pay out the nose.
To Republicans, government is the problem. Unless it suits their own needs. Red-Ink Ronnie - your spending ways continue, even in death. Something all Reagan supporters should be really proud of.
