Senator Joe Lieberman's tribute to Ronald Reagan.
This man must be a Republican. Didn't somebody tell him that?

He was just pouring his love out for the man....

2. How DARE he?
How DARE he dedicate a tribute to a monster responsible for the butchering of so many innocent lives in Latin America and the Middle East? And responsible for a huge treasure deficit that we're still paying for? Scums of the Earth, Reagan and Lieberman, may you both burn in Hell.

5. Reagan won our trust. Through illegal wars?
Reagan won our trust. Through illegal wars?

Supporting the Contras in Nicaragua? Arming both Iraq and Iran?

Making up stories that people on welfare are rich?

Saying tax cuts increase revenue?

I didn't trust Reagan.

6. Of course he's a Republican. I have been saying this since
I first came to DU. I nearly got banned a couple of times for offending hardcore Joe supporters. I notice they don't come around anymore. Lieberman, Zell Miller, Lyndon LaRouche and I'm beginning to dislike Ms. Landrieu of Louisiana. Why do they call themselves Democrats?

12. First...

My family is blue collar; I would never offend them in any way. Second, I'm making no one look like a wimp--HUH? Third, Joe began the "Joe" words with his Joementum, Joemobile etc. Fourth, if you are disgusted by this board, don't read it.

13. You and other Democrats got to stop being afraid.
Edited on Sat Jun-12-04 11:47 PM by Cascadian
Who cares what others are thinking? You cannot win by playing like Republicans and Lieberman is the embodiment of Republican Lite. That is why he failed in his bid to be the Democratic nominee. This is why the Repubs keep laughing at us. Democrats are viewed as weak and indecisve. That has to end and Lieberman is an obstacle to real change. I am sorry but it's true. I hope another Democrat in Ct. runs against him.
