I sure liked it when the world was with us, instead of against us -

on our worst day of our history, when they told us they all were Americans. Almost 3 years later, our idiot in chief has squandered it away and many days I hang my head in shame for being an American. I wanna believe we can get it back. I wanna believe most citizens of our country believe in the same America I do, but that gets harder every day. When liberals who care about the weak/er or less fortunate are called Communists or Socialists, I get very very sad and discouraged.

1. I feel the same way.

The only way to get that back is for congress to put the torturers from the top down in the dock and prosecute them for their crimes, then we need new leadership (Kerry). Only then can we start to hold our heads high once again.

2. we're not getting it back because we don't deserve it

The truth of the matter is, plenty of people in the U.S. are just as morally bankrupt, corrupt and evil as bushco. That's why they vote for him and support him. They actually like these policies.

Furthermore, unless bush and his chronies are punished for what they have done, the U.S. will have no credibility anywhere in the world.
