I had heard 500 theatres and went to check out entertainment weekly to see if there were more chains still signing on. I found the following headline at EW.com but can't see the article unless I use AOL or subscribe to the magazine -

I am not about to let anyone stop the expression of free speech. When It was back in college, there was some show where there were gay transvesties doing a show. The Christian fundies were out protesting, but I was a dumb college kid and I went in because their protests got me curious. They shouted and screamed at me all the way through the entrance, but I never cared...

I think there should be signs up, too...telling folks that if they come in and cause trouble...they WILL be arrested.

They have a thread going reference a telephone interview where Moore admits to having the footage of the prison abuse before 60 minutes released it to the press. Moore said in the interview he was torn between releasing it when he got it or waiting, he was afraid his release of the footage would be seen as a PR stunt for his movie and therefore wouldn't be taken seriously.

FReeepers are alleging that Moore put the service men and women responsible for the abuse up to committing the abuse, just so he could film it for his movie and ruin GW. "No doubt he was paying for them all, including PFC Lynndie England's behavior!" also allege he was the unknown intelligence person giving the orders to abuse and Nicholas Berg was his cameraman.

outside our local movie house, my friends and I plan to yell, in unison, "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH," and then just go on our way, into the theater.

If they get in my face in the parking lot, I'll call the police. (They'll know which movie I'll be seeing cuz I'll be wearing Kerry gear.)

If any one disrupts the movie INSIDE, I'll be the first to go get the manager and publicly ask that they be thrown out. I'll go to every showing, if I have to, in order to see the entire movie uninterrupted (and get freepers kicked out).

In Houston, at least, it will be playing at big multi-cinemas. They tend to have security to stop injury to paying customers or damage to their property.
