Power bigwig just said on CNN--RULES WERE BROKEN!!!!!
CNN just interviewed a guy named Michael Gent....who heads the "Reliability" group or whatever...he said that "rules" were broken.
What rules???? Supposedly, the 21 plants are supposed to all work cooperatively...but he specifically stated that RULES WERE BROKEN....

another symptom of DEREGULATION???

If I were Gray Davis......

1. The North-East just experienced their first....
ROVING BLACKOUT!
Anyone else notice the plethora of 'experts' who started their remarks with the phrase "We have the best MILITARY in the world but our power systems are antiquated"?
(Hint: 3 in a row on GEMSNBC!)

5. The private companies don't want to invest in upgrades
because that would cut into profits. So the greedy *ahems* overload old systems.

8. This blackout will probably cost the public way way more than
deregulation ever was claimed to save (even though those claims were all lies).
