4. Down to $1.80/gallon here in metro Atlanta.
Of course, we generally have some of the lowest fuel prices in the country anyway, thanks to low state taxes.

Edited on Sun Jun-13-04 08:39 PM by Aidoneus
10-15 cents/gallon less for some other stations. Still 10 cents higher across the river, but that's dropped 15 cents in a week all the same.

8. How is it that gasoline is dropping so much?
Did OPEC decide to increase production? That sucks, now it makes our jobs of ousting Bush harder.

13. Nonsense ...
Bush's faults are so numerous that a temporary drop in gas price doesnt matter ...

11. It goes like this ....
Edited on Sun Jun-13-04 08:45 PM by Trajan
Bush takes office > It's AOK to game the market as high as possible: NO price caps will be imposed : ALL of Bush/Cheney friends get hugely rich on our backs .. and tax cuts ALL AROUND for all those windfall profits ...

When people FINALLY lift their eyes from the TV to complain: Bush tells his friends to 'cool it', and let the prices drop, slowly, and just a little, .. til he gets re-elected ...

Then its off to the GAME once more ...

Natural gas prices up ?? ... CHECK !

Electricity rates up ?? .... CHECK !

Gasoline prices shooting through the ROOF ? .... DOUBLE check ! ...

"Hey: you guys want some AMERICAN TREASURE, genuine TAX REVENUES from the little SAPS to help you 'invest' in 'research' ?? ...

"Ill have 60 BILLION tax dollars I didnt contribute, if you dont mind", they reply ...

SHEEESH ... Think ENRON ... Think EL PASO MERCHANT ...

The american public is so clueless ...

Edited on Sun Jun-13-04 08:45 PM by Ilsa
It depends on whether there is any competition nearby, and if there is, it has dropped already. About $1.87 for regular unleaded.

That's what I filled up for today, and it was the cheapest I have seen in several weeks.
