Bush can't even get the black out straight...
Twice in his videotaped address to a grieving nation, bush referred to the power outage as a "rolling blackout." Minor point, I suppose and I may have this wrong, but what happened today is not a rolling blackout. Rolling blackouts, like we had awhile back here in California, are intentional blackouts instituted to conserve power during high-usage times. One small grid is out for a short time, and then it "rolls" to the next grid as a way to spread the misery around. But rolling blackouts are intentional. At least I think so.

A small thing, perhaps, but can't this mutton-head get ANYTHING right?

4. instincitvely pads his sentences
Bush has very little to say, obviously. He is setting a record for littlest time answering questions, and when he does appear, he repeats himself and uses fillers to stretch out his thoughts.

22. Yeah, reminds me of high school research presentation I didn't do......
but had to present one day in history class.

I just repeated the introduction I had written about 5 different times.....until my teacher told me to "just sit down." Which was in the day when people didn't say, "SHUT UP, JUST SHUT UP!" LOL

8. I cannot decide if he didn't know what he was talking about
or if he was just trying to remind Californians of the problems they had back in 2001.

13. You assume that the Californians associate rolling blackouts with Enron.
Bush and Co. might assume that they associate them with Gray Davis.

15. This never happened under Clinton, of course.
But the two Masters of Energy have it happening regularly. How long until we judge the tree by its fruits?

16. maybe he thought it was a 911 "Lets Roll" type of thingy and got it mixed
up with 'blackout', thus his "rolling blackout" ?

I think inebriation via fundraisers does have a 'role' in this taped stupidity though...just a guess.
