cool thoughts last night and worried when you din't check in here.

Walking five miles in the heat would have fried my brain forever! (I don't do hot.)

So very glad you finally made it back home. Take care of your tootsies!

Guys rafting on the Sanke River pull their rafts up and lay on them to look at the stars and sleep. The one guy from NYC says "Hey! Look at that! Smog! Smog way out here in the sticks." Another guy replys "Hey Joe..that ain't smog, that's the Milky Way." Joe had never seen the Milky Way.

12. Something city people
miss with all the artificial lighting is the pastel colored light show nature puts on at dawn and dusk. Also, you miss the heavenly star shows. If the lights are still out tonight, go someplace that you can look up at the sky and see the universe at your fingertips.
