Bush and Cheney are out on the campaign trail again today. Bush is in Missouri and Cheney is in Florida. They have a new campaign ad out touting their optimism and simultaneously talking about how their opponent is "pessimistic". Yes, they are the optimists ! Forget about all that fear they've been preaching for 3 1/2 years.
All the while, the details on the prison tortures become more and more clear each day. And the trail leads right to the Oval Office. There are ways to dishonor the Oval Office but planning torture doesn't seem to be one of them - it has to involve sex.
They wave and smile like "normal" politicians but beneath the appearances beat the hearts of criminals. They hide their crimes behind religious rhetoric and political divisions - all the while wrapping themselves in the flag and warning of imminent terrorist attacks.

1. The "optimist/pessimist" angle is playing off Raygun's death. |

They are trying to juxtapose * to Raygun because of his "eternal optimism". Who knew necrophiles ran the GOP?
