The references to Clinton's dick are done to vent anger at the posse of idiotic Republicans who almost ousted an elected president . During those dark days, we listened to endless keening about "what will we tell the CHILDREN?!" We were dragged through hell by a mindless partisan war against our democracy and some of us are still pissed as hell.

It is also a reminder of how shallow and frivolous the charges were and how hollow they sound in light of today's dire difficulties.

I find the references to the Clenis to be valid political humor and they don't offend me at all. After all, if the Republicans talked about the Clenis for so many years, it must have some inherent interest.

I certainly respect your right to object, but I don't share your offense.
