I caught it on C-Span, the walk out to the podium was pretty lengthy, his walk was very strange.

His jacket was cinched way close to his waist, his butt looked pretty big, his walk was very self-conscious and with a distinct mincing quality to it. Which is ok, of course, it just does not fit at all with the macho attitude he's credited with.

Especially when he waved, as in that last shot.

Then when he was being introduced, his stood very awkwardly with his arms hanging apelike. When he started talking, I turned it off.

my guess is he has forgotten how to relax and just be himself, whatever the hell that is. He's playing this commander in chief, butch, manly, confident, popular president bullshit role, and he doesn't have the acting chops to get it down and keep it consistent.

And depending on the particular med he's on at the time, its level in his bloodstream, and his underlying mood at the time, he's trying to figure out how to walk as he goes.

As for the mincing...I've often thought that W is at least a substitute player on MY team, if you know what I mean. Small indications slip through over time, most telling of which is his frequent use of the word "fabulous."
