11. no kidding
looked like someone had placed little marks for him to follow to his camera position and he was making a real effort to hit each one......thought for a minute he was doing a Nixon impersonation with the hunched shoulders.

4. Let's see, it's 7:00 on the West Coast,
so I'd say about 6:45 Pacific Time.

5. I saw part of that rant he gave at the air force base today
I'd say he looked pretty lit up during that. He shouted most of the speech.

He probably had one about 11-12 am, PST.

6. No, he has been photographed drinking wine and beer
as president. Some people think it is near beer and grape juice, but the I am pretty sure that the White House has admitted is was real.

9. about 14 or 15 seconds ago, I suppose
He didn't sober up too well for that talk he just gave.

He is America's own Boris Yeltsin. He falls down more than Gerald Ford.

in the last hour IMHO, and as a recovering alcoholic since 6-18-81.

12. He's been dry for most of 15 years, with occasional "slips," but
I think they're managing him as Resident with a variety of anxiety and mood management meds like xanax and good old valium. With an upper thrown in as neccessary so that he can feign enthusiasm during speeches.

His obsessive jogging helps with his depression and anxiety too, as it stimulates the release of mood enhancing chemicals in the brain...enough an unused one like Shrub's.

OMG, what a mess we're in.

15. Like Samuel Clemens once said about smoking.
He said it wasn't hard to give up. He had done it thousands of times.
I think shrub can say the same thing about drinking.

13. Watch the way he walks
Sometimes it's the bold, Texas swagger....

and other times....like he's not too sure his feet are going to hit the ground. I've noticed these differences several times. the later one occurs on occassion when he comes home on Sunday afternoon from Camp David.

I worked as a bar tender in college....saw a lot of this...(ahem okay, okay so I even did a lot of this...full disclosure)

20. at the risk of being the black sheep...
... I honestly could give a rat's ass about Bush and alcohol. Plenty of heroic figures in history have tossed back plenty of liquor.

My beef is his actions, regardless of their impetus. I don't care if he drinks a fifth every day, if he'd just stop f*cking up and being a total waste of life :)

I heard he broke down in tears while watching the fire at the Jim Beam plant.

He had to get good and tanked to get up the balls to give an unrehearsed "speech" tonight. And man, could you tell he was pickled or what?
