Bush should have Johnny on the spot when the power failed.
After all those years of booze and cocaine, he must be an expert on blackouts.

1. At the very least
Edited on Thu Aug-14-03 09:11 PM by ewagner
he should have been curious enough to get in touch with elected officials to see if the Feds needed to be called in.

He didn't do that. Just took media's word for what was happening.

on edit: Given that the entire Bush Administration now looks at the world through the prism of 9/11 he should have had the insight to know that his job was to reassure the American Public as soon as possible.

They had to give him a couple of hours to dry out.

5. Earlier today
CNN said "President Bush is being kept abreast of all the information"

I'm like "Who the hell cares? What's HE gonna do?"

What I'd like to hear, is that the president is getting to the bottom of things, or at least contacting people. This makes it sound like someone whispers all the late news in his ear while he's doing something else. Whacking off, probably.

7. I heard that he would not go to where he could address
the nation. They had to take the microphones and cameras to him. Because of that, the message had to be relayed, not shown to the country at once. Heard that on Bloomberg Radio station.

Battery running low. :hi:
