Here are the modern exemptions. Yes Virginia, there are a few left.

<1-D-E> Exemption of Certain Members of a Reserve Component or Student Taking Military Training;

<1-O> Conscientious Objector- conscientiously opposed to both types (combatant and non-combatant) of military training and service - fulfills his service obligation as a civilian alternative service worker;

<1-A-O> Conscientious Objector - conscientiously opposed to training and military service requiring the use of arms - fulfills his service obligation in a noncombatant position within the military;

<1-O-S> Conscientious Objectors to All Military Service (Separated from Military Service);

<2-D> Ministerial Students - deferred from military service;

<3-A> Hardship Deferment - deferred from military service because service would cause hardship upon his family;

<4-A> Registrant Who Has Completed Military Service;

<4-A-A> Registrant Who Has Performed Military Service for a Foreign Nation;

<4-B> Official Deferred by Law;

<4-C> Alien or Dual National;

16. mescaline dose 1 hour prior to evaluation
should do it:evilgrin: :evilgrin:

Attempting to passionately kiss the evaluator (if male) could also prove useful - especially if you exclain how much he looks like your brother...your twin brother - the one who died when he was born.

There's a special exemption for it!

"<1-C> Members of the Armed Forces of the United States, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or the Public Health Service;"

Then you can work to save the climate and evade the draft at the same time!

Just a suggestion.

will not be a part of the new legislation currently sneaking through congress. In fact, if you are drafted in October, you must report by December, can't even finish off your year (so much for financial aid....(

27. The deferments ended long before Rangel's bill
People are so damn confused by the Dem bills. Just forget about them!

There already is a men-only DRAFT and Bush is reactivating it for June 15, 2005. The Dem Bills are not needed for the DRAFT to be reactivated. All that is needed is a trigger Resolution after Bush asks on April 1, 2005 for the DRAFT, saying "We won't cut and run from Iraq." (Then he'll invade Syria and Iran later on with the DRAFTEES)

There already is a men-only DRAFT and Bush is reactivating it for June 15, 2005.

That's all you have to say to yourself.

Let's say it together.

There already is a men-only DRAFT and Bush is reactivating it for June 15, 2005.

Please say that 5 times a day--to other people.

Thank you.

28. Does Anyone Have a Link?
I can tell people over and over, but a good credible link will help best. I checked Snopes but they have it filed under "probably not" or they did last time I checked. But then, from the Michael Moore response, the Kerry swearing stuff, etc., I tend to think Snopes leans to the right rather heavily.
