Note to John Kerry:
After you take office, PLEASE don't have those god-damn back drops with lame ass messages like "Keepin America Strong" or "Fighting For Your Health" when you give a speech.

Actions, not slogans! Ok, bud?

1. Don't count on it
Those are the bread and butter of politics right now. The news media loves it because the picture tells most of the story.

I don't like them either, but I think they will be here for years to come.

2. I hate em too, but....
if he would consider changing them to something like "How do you like your gas guzzling SUV now, dumbass?!", or "Don't think the media knows how to get a story accurate!", I would reconsider.

4. The American public has a short attention span.
These messages, back drops and sound bites worked in the last election. Gore was 'too intellectual'. x(

8. Dear President Kerry,
RE: lame ass back drops

Please assume that 'average' Americans possess the intelligence to understand the complexities of life and the world community.

I would rather deal with reality - not perception.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,
9_S_F
