For metro NY DU'ers, it looks like Clearview Cinemas are on board, they own both multiplex and town square theatres. Showcase Cinemas in MA/CT are another addition.

Now, sorry for the bad news part of this post....... your "letterwriting campaign" is still on.... we need to be thanking all those theaters who *are* screening the film! There's a thread on this, with all the email addys, so I hope you can join us in this ffort, as it only takes a minute to do.

Remember, those theaters which *are* showing the film are being barraged by hateful mail from freepers...... one DUer reported yesterday that a theater owner said he had had 3 death threats. So, the least we can do is let 'em know we appreciate their efforts!

And, thanks, too, for *your* efforts!

4. Click on your state on the map

At first I tried to enter my zip, and then another and another, then cities, and kept coming up with zilch. Living in SC, it seemed all to likely to be true. But some kind DUer pionted out that I should click on the map instead, which brought up three venues in my state (two in my area!).

Anyway, these are shown for NYC:

11. Couple theatres in SW Florida now....

North Ft. Myers AMC theatre is showing it now. Nothing Naples so they'll have an hours drive or more to get there. At least there's something now. Before that you'd have had to drive over to the east coast or Sarasota to the north.

They just added the UA 2 miles down the street from me!!!!! Doing the dance of joy! There is a whole group of us going to see this including 3 teachers from my kids very small school.

18. Wow, it's showing at all the AMC theaters in Metro Atlanta

Thought we just had 2 theaters in Atlanta - but that's just the city limits. It's even playing at the AMC out here in the VERY conservative subburbs where I live. I am absolutely SHOCKED! Shocked and Amazed!
