9/11 Commish Report /C-Span. Osama wanted hit when Sharon visited Bush!

He tried to move the date for the attacks up when Sharon was visiting Bush! Osama was angry that Sharon had visited Muslim holy sites the week before.

He also was pushing to attack the White House.

Now the investigator is saying that Osama was angry about Israel's incurgency into Palistian territories and presense in Saudi Arabia. He thought the attack if sucessful would recruit more terrorist to join their cause.

1. Is anyone watching these hearings? It's really interesting. Trying to

put together what they are saying and the Timeline Research which has been done on the Internet and here on DU.

I didn't know they were going to publicly announce this. Thought it was going to be a report that would be released. I wonder how they got "clearance" to report it live on C-Span.

3. Thanks for the link. What's odd is that they have today's session listed

as a "Hearing" and yet they aren't asking questions of witnesses they are presenting what they've learned so far. How can it be a "Hearing" when they are reporting? :eyes:

Tomorrow it looks like Myers and the NORAD Head will be testifying in front of the Commission.

I'm very confused here.

4. Did any of the "Media" cover this yet? It does make a case for getting

out...but then how do we import our Oil from Saudi Arabia, unless we keep a presense there?

That's the question. And, if we pull out of the ME, then what about the investment the Saudi's have in our stock market...and what about Israeli defense? It can't go on like this with us interfering with them, but folks who worked for years to "diplomatically" stabilize the ME have seen this all come undone.

The choice is stay and face future attacks, here and abroad, or leave and have our oil cut off and "insurgents" over-run Israel.
