Sometimes, you have to keep it simple
Edited on Wed Jun-16-04 01:27 PM by louis c
Many of my members asked why our Union endorsed Kerry? My answer goes like this. "Follow the money. Wal-Mart is one of the largest contributors to political campaigns in this country, 80% of their donations goes to Republicans, 20% to Democrats. The AFL-CIO is equally as large a contributor, 85% goes to Democrats and 15% to Republicans. Since common sense tells us that groups will donate in their own best interest, would you rather have a job like they have at Wal-Mart, or one sanctioned by the AFL-CIO?".
