Another survey (Weekly World News)
The Weekly World News has a survey up on their site.
http://www.weeklyworldnews.com/
Among the questions:

As of 6/3/04 CIA Director George Tenet has resigned. Who should resign next?
    Condoleeza Rice
    Donald Rumsfeld
    Karl Rove
    George W. Bush
    Liberals

Why is this significant? Because the Weekly World News, in spite of their batboy content, has been remarkably accurate reflecting the mood of national politics--the space-alien's favorite candidate almost always wins. If they see a strong tilt against Bush, their editorial content will reflect it. If we're lucky the space aliens will call for Bush's resignation.

Don't knock it--most of America scans the Weekly World News headlines in the checkout line.

2. You Know - Its a Tough Choice
I was going to say Condie, but what the hell, she ain't hurtin' anything any more. Then I tought Rummy, cause that is one dangerous son of a bitch, but he seems to have been immobilized lately. That means Ashcroft of course, and he seems to have magically arisen from the dead in the last couple of weeks. Shit, I don't know. Its not Rove though, who gives a shit about him other than Bush?

I wonder why Cheney isn't on there?

4. Cheney is not on there because he CAN'T resign...
...according to last week's issue of WWN, he's a robot.

3. Quite a poll
will be waiting for the results - lots of deep thinking.

What would boost consumer confidence most?
Lowering of oil prices
Higher wages
Tax cuts
Free beer
