The Pukes are starting to crack
They are now discussing on our local board Cheney's replacement for when he bows out due to his “Health”, They've also acknowledged that BushCo is in trouble.
They keep referring to something coming out today or tomorrow, I cant find anything on it, It may be bullshit, But it’s great to see these bastards squirm.

I wonder what the "something" is they're referring to. A few days ago, someone posted a story here from the Telegraph, a British paper, saying an American network had more damning Torturegate memos. Unless they mean the group of foreign policy people coming out today against Bush.

19. The Red Cross is supposed to release
four of their reports about US Torture to the media this week. They said they have tried to deal with this problem through traditional channels, but they felt they no longer had a choice but to go to the media.

If this is true, it could be the final nail in the coffin.

20. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! KEEP CHENEY!!!!! KEEP CHENEY!!!!
Bill Press said this to Tweety yesterday. We want cheney to stick around. The longer he stays put, the more of a millstone he is around bush's neck. Let's hope and pray that the two of them stay surgically attached.

Yes, I too want to see cheney and the whole lot of them, ESPECIALLY cheney, and shrub too, be treated to the great Frogmarch that Joseph Wilson mentioned last year. It would be just desserts for the whole miserable lot of them. But FIRST I want to see them go down to disgrace in November. THEN bring on the prosecutions!

A president with a VP who's a crook is not one who's likely to win, even if he changes horses. Plus, Karl Rove is likely to be indicted, too, and he's Bush's Svengali.

43. No, I have heard it to on Fox radio and read it on their boards
They are cracking. Poll last night on Fox radio was "If Reagan was president today, do you think we would be in a war in Iraq." The majority of the callers said resounding "NO".

The letter from the former diplomats slamming GW and insisting he is harming the country and must go is what this board is squirming about.

for the Halliburton bribery scam that they have been investigating over the last year or so.

Libby has thrown himself on his sword for Chainey re Halliburton stuff in the states, he claims Chainey (working on the chain gang) was Sgt. Schultz, he knew nothing.

Cheney is abandoning Bush, he is jumping ship........

or, at the very least, it would surprise me a *lot* less than a Bush-Giuliani (sp?) ticket.

And if that *does* happen, it would be one hell of a hint as to where all these "McCain as Kerry VP" leaks really came from.

Of course, As one said, It could be one of a number of things.
I also don't think Bush would dump Cheney, Who would be around to tell him what to say?

Then again, If he is indicted, The old “Health” thing will get him out of it, They always use that shit when they get caught.

9/11 Panel Disputes Iraq Link to Attacks

By CURT ANDERSON
Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Rebuffing Bush administration claims, the independent commission investigating the Sept. 11 attacks said Wednesday no evidence exists that al-Qaida had strong ties to Saddam Hussein. In hair-raising detail, the commission said the terror network had envisioned a much larger attack and is working hard to strike again.

Although Osama bin Laden asked for help from Iraq in the mid-1990s, Saddam's government never responded, according to a report by the commission staff based on interviews with government intelligence and law enforcement officials. The report asserted "no credible evidence" has emerged that Iraq was involved in the Sept. 11 strikes.

<snip>

The conclusions that al-Qaida and Iraq had no cooperative relationship run counter to repeated assertions by President Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and other administration officials. The claims that bin Laden and Saddam were in league were central to the administration's justification for going to war in Iraq.

As recently as Monday, Cheney said in a speech that the Iraqi president "had long-established ties with al-Qaida." And last fall he cited what he called a credible but unconfirmed intelligence report that Mohamed Atta, ringleader of the 19 Sept. 11 hijackers, met in Prague, Czech Republic, with a senior Iraqi intelligence official before the attacks.

entire article

The commission found that the supposed Prague meeting never occured. Yet another case of the administration's lies, which they stand by even when proven as lies. UGH!

About his orders to hold a prisoner in Iraq "off the books," so the Red Cross wouldn't know about him?

The story about Cheney has been floating around for months. I think they're devoted to each other. If Cheney wants to be V.P., he will be. He'd only not be if he decided to bow out for the good of the election.
