Let's be honest, Bush is going to win more states than Kerry

Kerry on the other hand will win states where people actually live.

What else can be uncovered. Everything that he and his administration have said is a straight up lie. He took us into a war under false pretenses. We are involved in sex/torture scandals. Thousands of people were denied their right to vote in Florida. They let bin Laden's family leave after 9-11. His dad's administration supported Saddam and ole bin. "People actually live" in states with fewer electoral votes, too. Iowa, for instance has often gone Blue and probably will again. Kerry shouldn't take these for granted. If you've played with the electoral map on the LA Times site, you've surely noticed that it could actually be very close, with some of those "small states" making the difference.

And no, it's more big state bias than coastal bias. If Kerry lost Iowa, it would hurt. If Kerry lost California, it would almost guarantee a defeat.

I live in Phoenix (6th or 7th largest city in the country) my inlaws are all farmers in rural eastern washington state

they get a bunch more money for education, they get cash from the farm bill every year, they have great roads and infastructure

because they are going to disenfranchise enough heavily Democratic counties that he will win the "popular vote" which has always annoyed him because people are always throwing that up in his face.
This will "legitimize him, and shut up Democrats.
You keep thinking that after "stealing" an election and getting away with it, Bush will actually WORK for one.

He won't.
He's simply keeping it close enough to steal.

He will simply use those black box voting machines in "selected neighborhoods, and laugh at everyone who actually believed he could be defeated.
