I don't think God is Blessing America
i know presidents and all other blowhard politicians like to end speeches with the obligatory, 'and may god bless america' till ya wanna puke red white and blue. but i seriously doubt that god is blessing us. any cursory objecective study will obviously show that god, if he/she exists, has damned america, not blessed it.

look how goddamned we've become since bush TOOK office. everything i've ever read about the christian/jewish/muslim god of abraham tells me that he loves blood and death and carnage. what peace has god brought the middle east? his people, the jews, arabs, and christians all worship him, all pray to him, all kill for him.

america has a long, long awful history of sins against the innocent.
and as we enter the shiny new oh so modern 21st century, our president who claims to be a compassionate follower of christ is a mad dog killer. and his followers have lost their fucking minds and think that jesus the son of god is commanding them to slaughter thousands in the land of the heathens and unbelievers. (infidels)

god isn't blessing america right now, his fanatical followers who infest the nation are a cancer and a threat to our liberty. they seek a cleansing of all other religions, they see the crusades being done RIGHT this time, the total subjucation of the godless heathen who attacked us. our nation faces an insidious real threat from the zealot christians deluded enough to think that their god put the stupidest man in the world in charge of the united states of america.

if there really was a just, caring, nurturing, powerful god, he'd have struck bush down with a bolt of lightning by now. i've prayed to god, and never ever heard back. i've beseeched him to stop bush, and i've yet to get a response. hey god, if you really are there, could you please bless america and bring on the rapture and take all these brain dead americans to heaven so we can live in some peace down here?

your child,

mo

When will humankind learn?

It is learning.

And if we do survive the holocaust (unlikely, those in power will kill to remain in power and continue their oxymoronic yet outright destructive ways...)

11. Funny how despots always use God to justify the breaking of ...
every one of his own commandments! Things aren't going exactly as Bush wants and that could be a sign that God is not the happy Camper we are being led to believe that he/she is! I'd believe my dog before I'd believe Bush's god!

Maybe Jesus is just waiting to drop kick them when they're on third and long! Shei'it ain't happening just right for the neo-righteous, it smelleth like to me! And it does make one wonder, who, is on whom's side, in what! I Guess I'm going to have to locate Reverend Blow-Gum Holstine to get the straight skinny! He would know!

8. hmm
he'd have struck bush down with a bolt of lightning by now.

Yesterday, during some "live" broadcast of Bush giving a speech, I noted a look in his eyes I never before had seen. It's very difficult to characterize the look, but it was almost searching: a distant gaze slightly upward, pleading for approval. A look of questioning justification?

In fact, his whole demeanor appeared different. I didn't notice the downward staccato nod of his head as he was drilling home some point.

Perhaps the lightning is striking. Of course, I mean that as metaphor.

13. Is God against proper capitalization?
Perhaps God would bless our nation if you would take the time to capitalize the first word in every sentence along with any proper nouns.

Have you looked at the Bible? Very few typos and quite a bit of proper punctuation. God is most likely an English major. Stop pissing him off.

Just a thought.

16. Is god a proper noun? I think not. Perhaps when writing
the name of your god capitalization would be appropriate. I think you are speaking of Yaweh?

18. Well if you want to get technical...
yes, "God can be a proper or improper noun. If you were referring to "a god" or "your god" or "my god", it is improper. But if you are referring what you would consider "God" (Yahweh, Allah, Bob Dobbs, etc.) then it is proper.

Does that help? I'm no holy man/English major, but I'm pretty sure that sounds right.

14. I've often thought that there is a lot of Karma to make up for.
Think about it, the brutalization of the Native Americans, the slaves brought from Africa and treated and brutalized like the farm animals that also didn't deserve what happened to them and it still goes on today. The wholesale and cruel entrapment slaughter of the beavers so rich Europeans could have cocky hats. The slaughter of the Buffalo and impoverishment of the Native Americans who depended on them. Well, there is so much more and so much to add to this short list, but I don't know what will happen to make up for what the gangsters in the WH have done in our name now. The debt keeps piling up and this isn't about money.

This is Bush & Co's personal karma points.

Let's help deliver some humiliation karma to Bush on Nov 2!

The fact that you're here means your getting some good karma.

My two cents about karma.

26. I still don't quite understand why God, the creator of everything,
in the limitless vastness of the universe, would single out one nation/state on a tiny blue planet circling a medium sized star.

But, that's just me and my weird thoughts. Who am I to argue with the logic of George W. Bush and his ilk who invoke God everywhere?

28. "God works in mysterious ways"
Cliched, but true.

And while it would be nice if He would just come down here and clean house, I don't think it will happen. He's really big on free will and Grace, so He's giving these people time to make things right I guess.

Mostly I pray for the scales to fall off the eyes of Bushco and followers.

Would Jesus love a liberal? You bet!

I agree with what was said above. If there is a god, I highly doubt he/she/it would take any interest whatsoever in the activities of tool-using hairless apes on a tiny planet orbiting an insignificant star on the edge of an ordinary spiral galaxy.

Maybe you're looking through the wrong end of the telescope. It isn't just BUSH. It's the whole Cabal. We're talking about 100s of people, maybe thousands who are in on this conspiracy with him.

Believe me, God may not meet your expectations, but blaming her for whats wrong with a world that man himself has defiled, is just plain scapegoating.
