Compromise makes for better nights in bed

Is it, as some on the right would propose, that homosexuality, abortion, women's rights and other such activities are eroding family values? Rush Limbaugh, who is a famous critic of each, has just started his latest divorce and, unless he is splitting up with his wife for another man, I'd be hard-pressed to think of any way homosexuality plays into it.


Political Blogger Atrios dug up a great quote from Rush who said on July 16, 1996 that "Marriage is a responsibility... to be tossed around in this manner is to devalue it, which is to devalue the fundamental building block of our society. And I think that's what's wrong with this whole process of same-sex marriage. It just simply denies the definition of what the institution is."


All of this from a man who met his wife online. But to be fair to Rush, he believes in marriage so much that he's done it three times, according to Reuters, and, we can now assume, is moving on to No. 4.

The man is an egomaniac. What will happen when Marta takes him for well over half his money? Don't give me the prenup crap, they have been married for ten years, and she knows all the skeletons in the closet. Also she would need some hush money, or she could do a kiss and tell book. Between this and his drug problems, we are talking about a quite a bit of loot El Drugbo is getting ready to kiss goodbye...

There were stories about how he was bashing liberals at he wedding when he was suppose to be performing a toast for Marta. What type of relationship do you think he could have with a woman...My opinion is none, he isn't capable....

I mean, does anyone really give a damn what Rush Limbaugh does, except for the far right neocons, who worship the ground he walks on, along with Ronnie Raygun

But the man has crossed the line several times. He reffered to Chelsea Clinton as a dog, has anyone on our side made fun of the Bush twins? He said and I paraphrase, "There are too many whites getting away with doing drugs. They ought to be caught, tried, and sent up." Yet when he is the one doing this, he doing the exact opposite. He preaches that marriage is the cornerstone of society, and yet he has managed to do it three times. I don't care about the perosnal life of any other human beings. Just that those who live in glass houses shouldn't be throwing stones.....

She isn't out preaching values to others yet doing the opposite...It's the least she deserves for staying married to that freak for ten years..Take him to the cleaners, it's what he deserves...

If you think about it, Rush is a complete hypocrite on just about every major social issue facing us today.

Why is that there has to be notorized documents to say that "another man" is the cause, or him being a giant closet case have to be provided? Just the scent of a divorce in other instances,"the other woman," is thrown out there immediately.

How this guy can attest to the twisted, freakish mind of a creature like Rush, and certify no issues with homosexuality is amazing, considering the past of Mr. Rush.
