Need Help from Weather Enthusiasts RE 24 hr Radar Loops and Blackout
A couple of posts last night had links to weather radar anomolies

at the time of the blackout. These loops max out at 12 hours and thus

no longer show the time period.

I cannot find a 24 hour loop and I am not sure which reflectivity range

this applied to.

If you know of a site that has these longer loops please link here

I am willing to sift thru the different ranges to get a lookat what

seemed strange to others last night.

1. That's something I've been looking for too.
I've been looking for quite a while and have never found one.

4. I did find one and it is for 24 hours, BUT
it is only 24 or 25 frames and it didn't show anything unusual. The thing covers the entire country so the image would not be detailed enough even if there were an image taken at the right time.

5. Yeah, national composite doesn't use the same reflectivity range
locals allow you to view different reflectivity ranges and view

so called 'clutter' where the strange stuff sometimes shows up

3. I didn't find anything on radar loops but...
If you do find something, this site might be helpful.

http://www.softswitch.com/news.htm

It lets you watch the electrical grid and see the power go down as it happened.

I don't know much about these people, I haven't had much time to check out the website myself. Just thought it might come in handy.
