I heard on TV that Clinton wants to sabotage Kerry. True?

I heard on TV a theory that Clinton's releasing his book at this time, shortly before the Dem. Convention, is more evidence that Clinton would like * to win the election, so that Hillary would be able to run in 2008.

At first I thought this was ridiculous, then I got to thinking about it, and it did seem at least somewhat plausible. If Kerry wins, Hillary will not be able to run in 2008. And Clinton is acting sort of as her political advisor, so......????

when there was a substitute for Tweety. One of the guests, and not a right winger. I repeat that I think it MAY have been Hardball.

I watch mainly CNN and MSNBC. I watch Faux sometimes, to keep abreast of what they are saying, but I would never make the mistake of believing something like that coming from them.

I watch mainly Aaron Brown on CNN and Tweety on MSNBC.

It was a discussion about the Clinton book, obviously, and the question was the usual something like, "Do you think that Clinton's book being released at this time will have any effect on the Kerry campaign?" And the responder said something like, "It's hard to know. But being released so closely to the Democratic Convention, and if the book becomes a bit hit, it would be talked about and get coverage on through the fall, it might steal some of Kerry's thunder. And that may be fine with Clinton since, as you know, he has been acting as Hillary's political advisor, and it is possible that he wouldn't mind seeing Bush win this November so that Hillary could run for President in 2008." Something like that. I just can't recall who the guest was. It wasn't an obvious far right winger, like some nobody that Hannity would have on. But it's possible it was someone on the right, just not far right (like Pat Buchanan), but it's also possible it was a leftie or just a factual type journalist. I think the guest also said that it's possible it would help Kerry. He was just supposing several results of the Clinton book.
