Abrahams Report on Electric Transmission System
"Our objective is simple: to provide our citizens with a reliable supply of electricity at the lowest possible cost," Secretary Abraham said in remarks before the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board (SEAB) public meeting on Wednesday afternoon. "We will work to unleash innovation and strengthen our markets to allow entrepreneurs to develop a more advanced and robust transmission system that meets growing energy demand in the years ahead."

So what happened to their little plan?

1. I'm going to kick this back up
This is the Administration's power grid plan. Anybody who wants to make statements about this over the next few months is going to need to know what the Administration itself actually proposed. To be just a bit bitchy here, aren't we the people who value educating ourselves?

2. Oh no not Spence
Gotta appologise about Spence. Maybe we should have voted for him locally here in Detroit to keep him away from Power and Energy in DC. If only we had known.

6. Entrepreneurs - more deregulation
That was my point in posting this. Their solution is more privatization and deregulation which is probably why they wouldn't pass the $350 million to fix the thing in the first place.
