Gonzales testimony a sign Plamegate investigators targeting Oval Office |
|
That's what investigative journalist Wayne Madsen says in his most recent email, today:
"(Gonzales) does not act as the President's private lawyer but as the cousel for the Executive Branch. He may have invoked executive privilege before the Grand Jury but he can't invoke lawyer-client privilege as a government employee.
This is more of an indication that the Oval Office is a target of the prosecutor."

You have the right to remain silent mr. resident. Anything you say might be used against you in a court of law.

3. Please, PLEASE make shrub do a "perp" walk. I've been waiting |
|
four years to see that little bit of justice taken care of. Put a tag on his ankle and confine him to that pig farm in Crawford pending trial.

6. It sounds like Bush is being targeted as well as Cheney |
|
BTW, if Cheney were going to resign, why wait till the indictments? Wouldn't it be better to get out BEFORE that?

8. Heresay is admissible in Grand Juries |
|
They could have flat asked him what Bush asked him about that prompted Gonzales to suggest getting private counsel. They probably didn't, and Gonzales wouldn't have answered on some pretext or another, but they could have.

9. I am almost literally holding my breath. |
|
There was a time not long ago when I felt that I would not be satisfied until I saw Bush and the whole neocon gang tried for treason and their involvement in the events of 9/11 -- anything less not being true justice.
At this point, however, I want those fuckers out of the Executive branch so bad I don't care WHAT actions are brought against them. I just want them GONE!!
I'm waiting on pins and needles here.
