And I don't need you to post the "official" rules. I am aware of them. And they are constantly violated (and messages are not always being deleted--no problem where I come from). Don't misunderstand me, I'm not complaining. I should have some of my posts deleted more often (my sarcasm and tongue-in-cheek style is really bad on message boards), and sometimes I'm just as ass.
Do people have to report a violation before the message is deleted? I know that an original post, one that starts a thread, has to follow the rules (somewhat), but what about the many posts inside of a thread? Do you have to be reported to get a post deleted? If so, can I just say to everyone: you can post whatever you want about me, in whatever hostile language (though no one has ever really done this), and I won't report you. I don't care.
Anyway, I'm just curious. There really is no semblance of balance here, so I imagine that one has to report a violator in order for the person to get his or her post banned.
