This weekend the Green Party will let us know if they back Bush or not!

And we will see if they again, nominate a non-Green to represent them in the up-coming elections. If they do {which I suspect they will}, they will inflict mortal damage on what they are trying to achieve in American Politics. LEGITIMACY!

1. You mean will they endorse Nader?

I mean if they do that, as he's asked them too, well, that would be pretty pathetic. If they nominate a non-Green who's not Nader, well, it would be a blow, but not as fatal a one, in my opinion.

Of course if they aren't going to nominate Nader, they may as well nominate a person from within the party; not sure I understand any rationale for not doing that.

I guess if they could get someone famous to accept the nomination.

But hey, it's the Greens. They hold promise as a party but helping Bush get re-selected doesn't exactly help their platform much.

4. If the Greens endorse Nader, they have lost me forever.

I have never voted Green in a presidential election, but I have on the local level.

If they endorse Nader again after everything that has happened in the past 4 years, I will NEVER vote for another Green candidate as long as I live because they will have lost my trust and I will forever question their true motives and true agenda.

5. Green Party....DON'T DO IT!

If the Green Party endorse Nader, it would be a huge, HUGE mistake. It drives me nuts that some of my fellow left-leaners are acting dillusional thinking that things are going to change if they front their own candidates. THIS IS NOT THE TIME FOR DIVISIVENESS. I am sorry to say that Kerry is the only chance we have to get rid of Bush. HELLO???

6. I could not speak for the Greens but,

They went with Ralph in 2000 hoping to get enough votes to get them Fed. funding. He failed. I don't think Ralph can get it this time either.
