A UCLA/ Stanford study on media bias finds that Drudge Report is the most centrist of all media outlets.

Our results show a very significant liberal bias. All of the news outlets except Fox News Special Report received a score to the left of the average member of Congress. Moreover, by one of our measures all but three of these media outlets (Special Report, the Drudge Report, and ABC's World News Tonight) were closer to the average Democrat in Congress than to the median member of the House of Representatives. One of our measures found that the Drudge Report is the most centrist of all media outlets in our sample. Our other measure found that Fox News Special Report is the most centrist. These findings refer strictly to the news stories of the outlets. That is, we omitted editorials, book reviews, and letters to the editor from our sample.

Since the Repubs have a majority in both houses and since some of THEM are waaaaaaaaaay out to the right (especially in the House)the "middle" is far to the right of the actual middle. The far left (for example probably Bernie Saunders and Kucinich) are few in number so they don't balance out the far right (Duncan Hunter and Delay for example)

What's with that color scheme. I never understand why people put white text against black backgrounds. It's just not eyeball-friendly.

7. Actually I find it to be very eyeball friendly

I have a overly lit office and so the contrast is easier on my eyes.

And since its my site and I jsut changed the color scheme (Memorial Day Weekend), likely to leave it that way for a while.

Drudge is just a portal for many other sites. That is why the site is a great success. People go there to read other media.

Sometimes he gets stuff that is a few hours early before it is published in a newspaper. Sometimes he posts garbage. He wants to be the modern Walter Winchell. When Winchell died there was just one mourner,his sister.
