AFRAID OF DEMOCRACY ???

Hadn't seen that one before, but it hit me as just the perfect question both in tone and ramifications. And... the perfect 'meme' to start spreading before the election.

The rePukes are supposed to be the 'Daddy party', the tough guys who know all about foreign affairs and matters of war. Yet when attacked, they rip up the Constitution, and send others (not themselves, not their sons or daughters) to war to do the fighting for them.

They are supposed to be the embodiment of patriotism and Americanism, yet they'll rig and re-rig gerrymandering, as well as local and national elections.

And while they talk a good game on the First Amendment, especially when it comes to equating corporate money donors to free speech, they are almost pathologically inclined toward censorship and secretiveness when it comes to anything that might generate criticism of their actions.

They are the law and order guys, yet in fact... They are criminal.

14. We have a shop here locally that makes prints for t-shirts,

bumper stickers, etc. I've seen some great bumper stickers--mostly from dems., though the repubs. around here are quite crafty.

My favorite stickers:

1) My ass is smarter than Bush
***One sticker just has this line; another one has the democratic donkey kicking in the air.

2) Which way to the republican national convention?
***It has a picture of a storer transporter bus--a bus for menatlly and physically handicapped children (it's bad, I know, but it's funny--in a Southpark way: please, please don't lecture me on this issue).

3) Bush can lick my ass
***Picture of Bush tongue-deep behind the democratic donkey (we are a crude lot here).

4) My dick is bigger than your tax cut. So there.

5) Voting for Bush is like a fish fucking a coconut: it just doesn't make sense.
