This is the second time I heard Randi Rhodes talk about Helen Chenowith and how she was sleeping with every married Republican in this state (Idaho for those not keeping score).

Anybody have evidence that this took place?

I've been listening to her Florida show for years and she never spreads unfounded rumors. She got the facts from someplace.

On edit: I'm pretty sure Randi was talking about what she was doing while she was in Washington, not Idaho.

3. To my knowledge, she only had one affair with a married man

If I remember right, Congressman (she did not like to be called Congresswoman) Chenowith was one of the people calling for Clinton's head after the Monica Lewinsky scandal. She ran an ad talking about how moral she was and how she was doing the right thing. Apparently, her former lover's wife saw the ad and decided to share what she knew about Chenowith's morality. Chenowith came clean and Idaho's religious conservatives as well as God (according to Chenowith) forgave her.
