Bush claims right to waive Torture laws
President Bush claimed the right to waive anti-torture laws and treaties covering prisoners of war after the invasion of Afghanistan, and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld authorized guards to strip detainees and threaten them with dogs, according to documents released Tuesday. "I have never ordered torture," Bush said a few hours before the release. More ...

2. Jeez, take about a quick change!
When I saw the subject line, I thought maybe this was from earlier before all the AG stuff broke. He lied to the Hungarian Prime Minister then.

3. So then...Bush* is claiming the divine right of Kings?
- Otherwise, he's full of shit because the executive branch can't claim they're above Constitutional law...even during a 'time of war'.

9. Indicted? By our congress? Only sex is indictable.
They're too busy giving him more dough to beef up the military, allowing him to invade and subjugate a sovereign country, gut education, destroy the environment, enrich the wealthy, and generally stick it to the whole world.

With the likes of Joe Lieberman, Zell Miller, Evan Bayh and other alleged Democrats in the senate, don't hold your breath waiting for that indictment.

7. What does the Constitution say about it ?
He shall have the power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur;
============================
It doesn't say that he has the power to break treaties?? Not that I can find??

10. No one gave Bush permission to expect us to rationalize the irrational..
His behavior is unacceptable, period.

He has become a liability to the health and welfare of the American People and should be removed.
