Podesta blew it on O'Reilly

Podesta was supposed to point out all the lies O'Reilly has told on his show (Al Franken = Joseph Goebbels, Eric Alterman = Fidel Castro are just a couple.)

They played a clip of O'Reilly comparing Alterman to Castro. He starts with the "I'm just joking, ha ha ha" and "can't you guys take a joke, ha ha ha." I kept waiting for Podesta to bring up Bill's lawsuit against Franken, because after all, Franken was JUST JOKING! Podesta just stammered and let Bill bully him.

Then O'Reilly succesfully moved the topic away from himself so Podesta ended up being the one on the defensive. O'Reilly succeeded in making him look like a fool. Thanks John, for reinforcing the stereotype that Democrats are a bunch of wimps.

Jesus! Don't these guys know his MO by now? And you just know he'll be playing a clip tomorrow to puff himself even more. God, my blood pressure is rising through the roof!

1. I just saw that too.

Can this man's ego be any bigger? All Podesta asked for was a simple apology. O'Reilly didn't even do that.

That would have been sweet if he brought up the lawsuit against Franken. I would have loved to see the look on Bill's face.

But his e-mail is a must read everyday. Even if it does the BP no good whatsoever.
