Dean speech in Real Audio
Found this posted over on Dean's blog:

http://www.jayhipps.com/writing/archives/000022.html

Listening now. It's a speech Dean gave a week ago in Arnolds Park, Iowa. Good quality. Looks to be about 45 minutes long.

3. Rude...
Jeez, post a Kerry link and I'll listen to that too. I'm undecided at this point and I like to hear what these guys have to say. Figured others might like to hear this too after I stumbled across it. No need to be rude.

9. I don't have a bandwagon...
I'm UNDECIDED. This wasn't posted to promote Dean or attack Kerry. Yeesh. This is posted b/c I like to hear what the contenders have to say. Figured other Democrats probably do too. I watched Kerry's deal on C-Span a couple days ago wandering through some little town and then doing a town hall meeting. If it were online, I'd post the link. Don't go out of your way to attack others or the candidates. We're on the same damn team.

we should all be on the same team, the "throw bush* out of the White House" team. Let's all keep our eyes on the prize, ok?

18. Say what you want, molly.
It's a free country. And from what I remember, DU stands for Democratic Underground. You are in no violation of the rules in stating your perspective.

You're spot-on, as far at the attacks on Kerry go recently. New DUers should go farther into the archives to see the distortions and libels Dean supporters have been posting.

19. Come on now...
This isn't about rules, it's about civility and courtesy. I bash GOPers all the time for their you-did-it-so-now-we-can-too attitude. Rise above the fray. You'll be the better person. Kerry and Dean are both great. I'd rather not associate either one with petty bickering over insults regarding a sandwich. And no, I'm not gonna go back and dig up the thread. That stuff that makes no difference in the long run. If I want to bicker I'll go fight with the conservative trolls on fark.com.

Oh, and for those who care, I just noticed the large archive of free RealVideo on the candidates that C-Span has been maintaining. Wow!
http://www.c-span.org/videoarchives.asp?CatCodePairs=Current_Event,Vote_2004

That Kerry walking tour I mentioned previously is in there, as is video of the exact Dean speech I linked to audio of in the first place. Also full debates among the candidates, etc. Great site.

4. Obviously, you do.
Or atleast it appears that way.

Since you went out of your way to post something as thoughtful as "who cares?"

I think the most logical thing for someone who "doesn't care" is to not reply, or even read this thread. Which is the exact opposite of what you did.

26. Are These Kerry People For Real?
I'm beginning to wonder if the pro-Kerry people are actually Dean supporters in disguise, intending to make the Kerry supporters look rude, defensive, and without innovative ideas.

20. I just heard the whole Speech and it was great!
Lots of Dems in a fairly heavily repug part of Iowa!

Question time! Remind that we did elect a Dem in the last election!

Talkin' about how great Al Gore's speech was!

24. Talkin' about same sex unions in reference to a lady who is
worried about the "traditional family values" in New England maybe becoming corrupted!

Dean is getting good applause for standing up for his civil union stance!

Talkin about an 80 year old that was on the Beach in Normany thanking him for the civil unions bill and Dean asked if he had any gay friends or Family? No the man said ...I'm gay!

Dean says a man like this who did what none of those people in Washington did deserves the same rights as any American! :kick:
