Living in a Blue State Means ...
Living in a blue state means that I don't have to vote for any old warmonger just because he or she wins the Democratic nomination. Living in a blue state means I don't have to hold my nose and vote for - God help us - Lieberman. Or Kerry. Or anyone else who knew Bush was a monster and voted to give him carte blanche anyhow.

Living in a blue state means that I never have to admit that most of my political contemporaries vote for horrible right wingers. It means I don't have to keep finding new ways to excuse the inexcusable.
